Service life of the child seat

The recommended service life for a Klippan infant carrier is 6 years, and for a Klippan child car seat (including the base) it is 10 years. This period is calculated from the original date of purchase. This recommendation applies provided that the product has been used and stored in accordance with the instructions.

Tensioning of belts

We recommend pre-tensioning the hip and shoulder straps before tightening the center adjustment. When tensioning the central adjuster strap, the strap must be pulled straight out. Note that thick clothing can make it difficult to tighten properly.

A seat involved in an accident

We recommend that a seat involved in an accident, shall not be used anymore.

Recycle

Klippan childseats can be recycled according to instructions in the manual.
