The Klippan Opti129 is a pure RWF child seat. So far, the iSize approved seats have all been approved with Isofix installation, but Klippan
Opti129 has been approved as the first seat to be installed according to
the new iSize R129 regulation in the 61-125cm range with 3P belt
installation. This installation gives us the opportunity to offer seats
that has a longer time of RWF use than an Isofix seat can.
Klippan Opti has also passed the Swedish Plus test performed by VTI.

As Klippan Opti129 is approved according to new iSize regulation, and
the seat is belt-attached, we can reach a maximum weight for the child
up to 32 kg. In other words, the Klippan Opti129 is designed in a way
the child can travell as long as possible Rear Ward Faced. This way of
travelling is, studied, 5 times more safe than travelling forward faced.
The seat shall be installed into the car with the adult 3P belt and
lower tether straps. To secure the installation, the load leg and
recline tube shall be properly installed.
Klippan Opti129 has got an adjustable recline-tube, adjustable headrest and belt-height.
The Klippan Opti129 seatcover is sewn in accordance with our quality
and environmental principles. We do not laminate our fabrics, but sew
the different layers (under fabric - foam - outer fabric) together. As
we do not laminate the layers, we do not use glues in our production,
reducing the chemical level aswell.
Extra pockets are sewn on the inside of the cover, where you can add
cushions, so that the seat fits your child as well as possible. The same
pockets can also be found on the seat insert of the seat.
The cover is easy to remove and wash. The different cover parts,
backrest, seatpart and headrest can be separately removed if desired.
Based on our long experience in childseat production, we have made a
new protective cover for the central adjuster. This part not only guides
the adjustment strap but also protects the central adjuster itself from
dirt.

Tensioning of belts We recommend pre-tensioning the hip and shoulder straps before tightening the center adjustment. When tensioning the central adjuster strap, the strap must be pulled straight out. Note that thick clothing can make it difficult to tighten properly.

On the inside of the covers there are pockets for additional paddings. You can easily remove them or add more to achieve a better comfort for your child.
Life span
Life
span of the Klippan Opti129 seat is 10 years from date of purchase, as
far as storage and use has been according to instructions.
A seat involved in an accident
We recommend that a seat involved in an accident, shall not be used anymore.
Recycle
Klippan childseats can be recycled according to instructions in the manual.
Low level of Chemicals
The seat-covers on Klippan childseats are produced without lamination of the fabric. This results in a very low Chemical level.
